I’ll post two further articles on the site, one tomorrow and one next week. Tomorrow the subject will be an extract from Alexander Pope’s ‘Essay on Man’ and the final post will be on Blake’s ‘Jerusalem’. The site will remain alive for a while after the final post while I disaggregate and download the now large amount of text on it.

I set out just over a year ago to write material about 60 to 70 anthologized poems with a Christian theme. There are now about 70 articles on the site. It has been visited by people from many, many countries (but largely the UK, the USA, Canada and Ireland) and has been visited more than four and a half thousand times.

I apologise to people that have recently signed up to receive notices about new posts. I thank those people who have been regular readers, responders and visitors.

Thank you to Helen Knight for her art work (above) and to Mr Giles Beckley of Codeable for making the site nicely for me in the first place.

I hope this is not the complete end of Christian Poetry Considered. Please look out for its possible, maybe even likely, restoration in some other form.

Best wishes.
